Below is an extract from one of the shootboards:
I have also annotated an extract of the shootboard which showcases all the important factors that a shootboard contains:
Why the shootboard was useful:
- It contained timings that we tried to follow strictly which meant our shoots could run smoothly and everyone knew what to be doing
- It contained important info about camera movement and framing so it made it really easy for the person filming, they just had to follow the directions on the shootboard.
- It was also useful in the sense that we knew where everyone was at certain times, eg. when the others left for lessons
- The pictures and the descriptions of the shots were really detailed meaning it was also easy for us to act in it, because everything that was needed was written on their.
- It also helped us avoid confusion as to what set-up/costumes we had to be in for each shot because again it was all written on their really clearly
